Missed & Cancellation of appointments
Our practice requires 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment with the Dentist. In circumstances where 24 hours’ notice is not provided you may be charged a missed appointment fee on your next account.
Our dentists offer competitive rates and fees will depend on the complexity of the treatment provided. We can also provide a quote with your initial consultation for extensive work you may require. HICAPS is available for on-the spot private health rebates. Please speak to our receptionists at the time of booking for more information.
Monash Smiles Dental Clinic at The Glen is open Monday - Wednesday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Thursday 10.30am - 7.00pm, Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm and alternate Saturdays from 9.00am - 1:00pm.Monash Smiles at Clayton is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm, after hours on Tuesday and Wednesday nights until 8:30pm and also Saturday mornings from 8:00am – midday.
Dentists are unable to be contacted during consulting unless specific arrangements have been made. In order to provide the best possible care, our dentists are unable to provide dental advice over the phone. It is in the best interest of the patient to make an appointment to see a dentist.

Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of Monash Smiles to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of staff. We abide by the National Privacy Principles. Feedback and Complaints
Monash Smiles practitioners pride themselves on quality dental care. If you have any feedback or would like to make a formal complaint, please complete the feedback form available at reception and place it in our confidential suggestion box. The Quality Manager will direct your feedback to the treating practitioner. Alternatively you can contact your treating practitioner directly by phone or in writing if you are not satisfied with the service provided, or you can contact the Health Complaints Commissioner at https://hcc.vic.gov.au or phone on 1300 582 113.
